About Physiotherapy in Warner
Northside sports injury center has been offering quality physiotherapy to the area for decades and after a recent and long awaited expansion, now has plentiful private cubicles, a separate Pilates exercise area and space for classes.
We have a lively and spirited group of 6 physiotherapists from varying backgrounds including remedial massage, exercise physiology and who are largely from avid sporting backgrounds. We are runners, swimmers, tennis players and soccer/ touch enthusiasts and we bring our knowledge and passion for sports to work every day.
Our goal is to help you attain optimal health and fitness for whatever your own goals are - be it simply to be pain free, or to compete at a specific level of sport - and to teach you how to maintain this state to the best of your ability.
At Northside Sports Injury Centre, initially, we will endeavor to obtain a thorough clinical history followed by a physical examination to determine an accurate diagnosis. From there, incorporating you own short and long term goals, we will design and treatment and management program to achieve this. We will also be honest if your goals are not realistic!
Our physiotherapists are trained in a variety of techniques including dry needling, muscle energy techniques, remedial massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, mobilization, biomechanical assessment and of course exercise prescription for core stability and strength and conditioning.
