Core stability
Core stability is a term just about everyone has heard these days, but what is it exactly and how does it fit in? Your "core" refers to the set of muscles that support your trunk. These include your deep abdominals, your pelvic floor, deep spinal muscles and your diaghragm. These muscles are integral to stabilise you trunk and allow the correct movement patterns to occur. Long standing incorrect movement patterns, lead to overstraining of other structure and eventually can lead to injury especially in highly repetitive movements.
